What makes technology so important? Technology in libraries provide free access to many people who need it. Access to portable reading, outreach programs, and resources for students everywhere. I believe technology in the library provides the public with several little saving graces that it wouldn’t be the same without.

Being a student in the modern world means having to be able to use your library to your advantage! Save yourself the pain of trying to study in a loud home, or find assigned readings in your library’s catalog. Set up a session for free online tutoring or use their makerspace to use free technology you wouldn’t have at home. Ask the Library staff for even more ways to make use of their technology. Most of all, ask for help! The staff are always available to use for hands-on help with questions or training.
